The Creator of galaxies, of earth with its millions of species of animals, each creature with its unique set of life sustaining instincts, each with its unique personality–from ferocious to frolicsome, and each with its unique habits–from the solitary bear to the highly sophisticated team of bustling ants…
…the One who made the vast, living, dazzling seas, so deep no man has ventured so far beneath the surface as to reach its depths…
…the One who made the still blue sky and used it as a back drop for flowing green trees, before we understood the power and beauty of analogous colors…
…the One who created the human eye in this inconceivably complex human body, to perceive this glorious three dimensional display of wonder, intelligence and beauty…

That God. Speaks to me. Every day through His Word.
No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you. John 15:15
When you get a glimpse of this great God and you realize that He is your Friend and understand that He is communicating with you—life changes. Goals change. Habits change. Knowing this exquisitely beautiful, all powerful being who is the embodiment of Love becomes a priority.
Transformation
How do we get to know anyone without listening to their words? Even the deaf communicate through words. Whether written or spoken or signed, the only way to know someone is through their words. The only way we will ever know our God is to read His Words.
When we study His Words and live our lives by those Words, aligning ourselves to live in congruence with His teachings, we position ourselves to receive His blessings. When we sit at the feet of the Master, He shares His secrets with us. The Master scientist wants to share the mysteries of His universe with you. The Master Physician wants to uproot the deep-seated baggage that continues to hurt and hinder you.
I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
The Master of all Intelligence wants to share His wisdom with you. He literally makes wise men out of fools. Through His living Word.
The Word of God; read, trusted, and obeyed is the straightest path to wholeness. Real, lasting, life changing transformation doesn’t come about from an occasional Bible verse or a few Facebook quotes quilted together to make a comfortable cover. That will never replace picking up the whole Bible and delving into it. To get to know God, to become more like Christ, and to receive the blessings that follow, we have to study who He is. From His Word. Every day.
